HOST WELCOME

Hi everyone! It’s Naomi-Rose Everly here, and I’m so excited to share a recent conversation I had with Natalie Meyer, a brilliant time management expert who’s dedicated to helping solopreneurs like us navigate the sometimes overwhelming world of running our own businesses.
During our chat, we really dug into the challenges that so many of us face—especially when it comes to managing time effectively. I’m sure you’ll relate to this: we start our own businesses to gain freedom, to have more time with family, or to pursue personal passions. But somewhere along the way, the endless to-do lists, constant distractions, and the sheer number of hats we have to wear can make it feel like we’re always running out of time.
Natalie has an incredible way of simplifying the chaos. She talks about the importance of being intentional with our time—something that really resonated with me. It’s not just about being busy; it’s about doing the right things that move our businesses forward. She shared some fantastic insights on how to balance the smaller, everyday tasks with those bigger, needle-moving projects that we often procrastinate on.
One thing that really stood out to me was Natalie’s approach to transitioning from a structured corporate job to the more flexible, yet sometimes chaotic, life of an entrepreneur. She made a great point about how in corporate life, our time is externally managed—there’s a clear structure and set hours. But when we become our own bosses, we have to create that structure for ourselves, and it’s easy for the pendulum to swing too far one way or the other.
We also talked a lot about procrastination, which, let’s be honest, we all struggle with at times. Natalie breaks it down in a way that’s so practical. She walks us through the different layers of procrastination, from not being connected to the task at hand, to simply being scared of taking on something new and challenging.
If you’re anything like me, always juggling a million things and feeling like there’s never enough time in the day, this conversation with Natalie is one you won’t want to miss. We also talked about some amazing resources she offers, like her Anti-Overwhelm Daily Productivity Planner, which I think could be a game-changer for anyone feeling buried under their to-do list.
I’ve linked all the resources Natalie mentioned in the show notes and on our resource page, so be sure to check those out. And if you’re struggling with time management or just need a fresh perspective, I highly recommend reaching out to Natalie—she’s the real deal.
